Meet the highly qualified and caring reception staff at St David Veterinary Centre.
Leanne became the surgery’s practice manager in 2015 having joined the surgery in 2008. Leanne splits her time between both surgeries. Whilst already having two dogs there is always the risk of many more as she struggles not to take home every new puppy that visits the surgery.
Rita joined the surgery in 2013 as a part time receptionist. Having spent her working life in an office she loves her time on reception and wonders how she’d worked in an office for so long. Rita has a deep affection and soft side for the pets that visit the surgery and is often seen talking to the animals as if they were her own. She has a pet cat called Kizzie and is considering a French Bulldog one day.
“I joined the surgery in July 2015 as a part time receptionist and am now full time. I love every part of my job.
I moved to Cardiff from London in 2003 and haven’t looked back.
I have 2 great boys and my beautiful springer phoebe, we enjoy going on long walks.
As much as I love all the puppies, I have found I have a soft spot for large breed dogs, they are beautiful gentle giants.”
John has been with St David Vets since April 2019 and has a keen interest in football spending most of his weekends in the cold and rain watching Cardiff City FC. He’s a big dog lover having grown up with labradors.
I’m Jo I’ve been working at St Davids since May 2021. After 4 weeks of my employment I adopted a stray cat that was brought into the surgery and have named her Lulubelle, I have another cat called Olga. Watch this space…. maybe another cat might come home with me. My hobbies are Cooking, dining out and going to watch live music events. I’m enjoying working at St Davids and look forward to the future and what everyday brings.
Jane joined us in June 21, having been a client since 2006 with her beautiful springers Roxy and Evie.
She has a busy family life with her husband, four grown up sons and two new pups Lily and Maisie! In any spare time she has – she loves watching rugby, festivals (food and music), socialising and long muddy walks!
